I have a Big Problem with Martial Arts!?

Im 18 now and I started Shotokan Karate and Kickboxing at 8 years old!The Kickboxing is going ok but I realy messed up Karate!I use to be lazyy sooo lazy and I was always to lazy to train at home and all that and I missed alot of Gradings in Karate well now I have a second Brown Belt would be black long time ago if I was attending all Gradings.Anyways I copped on now and wana train realy hard but I feel like such an idiot Iv been training for 10 years and theres people in the club who beee training only few years and their a higher grade!Will this mess me up because I want to start training Kung Fu and get realy into Martial Arts am I gettin to old for this now??

I am a hispanic woman currently with a hispanic man. He cheated with a white college girl while I was pregnant and ever since then he is infatuated with white women. He of course does not tell me about it but he has discussed it with my friends husband dunring a "mantalk" I used to sneak into his magazine stash and it was always latinas or very light toned black women that he looked at now it is nothing but white women. What did this woman do to him to make him change a lifetime of what he liked? If he liked it so much why stay with me, why not go find a white woman to be with and leave me since he has already cheated? I can't say I have a type my ex husband was a white man and I have dated almost every race, height, weight, etc. Is it possible he is truely satisfied by me if all he is into nowdays are women complete opposite me?

Im writing a novel and for some reason,I just think that's almost impossible.I don't know if it's impossible,but it seems rare. So the real ques. is, if you are reading a story and a teen gets shot,would you think it's a little weird if he's in a coma for awhile and when he finallys awakens, his memory's gone. Do you think that's a little rare?
