Can you love someone who is not your "type"?

I am a hispanic woman currently with a hispanic man. He cheated with a white college girl while I was pregnant and ever since then he is infatuated with white women. He of course does not tell me about it but he has discussed it with my friends husband dunring a "mantalk" I used to sneak into his magazine stash and it was always latinas or very light toned black women that he looked at now it is nothing but white women. What did this woman do to him to make him change a lifetime of what he liked? If he liked it so much why stay with me, why not go find a white woman to be with and leave me since he has already cheated? I can't say I have a type my ex husband was a white man and I have dated almost every race, height, weight, etc. Is it possible he is truely satisfied by me if all he is into nowdays are women complete opposite me?
