Better video performance on a netbook?

When I play hulu videos on my netbook, the video stutters a lot. I'm playing in standard definition, NOT HD. I have windows 7, and the vieo card is intel gma 950 I believe? I have an eee pc 900a. Is there any way to improve video performance? From what I've heard, hulu is processor intensive (go figure!), and my netbook has a 1.6ghz atom. There of course is no such thing as a usb video card (lol), and I can't overclock the processor (lol again). Perhaps another gig of ram? (I have 1 gig now). Any ideas on how to reduce stuttering? I have the latest video drivers available.
