HELP!URGENT! i cut my finger with aa knife!? 10 points?

i wasd cutting vegetables with a knife and i cut my fingeri sucked as it hurtand called my parents and they just put a plaster in they didn't do anything else they didn;t even wash it out did my parents do enough will i be ok sorry about typos i am writting with one hand
