in 1953 the american CIA staged a coup that installed the shah , the first thing the shah did was to declare HE now owns 10% of all industry . america was OK with this because he bought many military goods from us . at one point he owned more F15s than the US air force did . saddam took over in 1979 , we also sold him many war supplies with his war against iran .
